Course Content Understand why people take out mortgages. Differentiate between capital and interest mortgages /    endowment mortgages /  pension mortgages. Describe the different methods of repayment of interest available. Compare different mortgage costs. Describe different tax reliefs available. Differentiate between various ways of protecting a mortgage . Describe and understand all the steps in effecting a mortgage. Describe and demonstrate how the following affect somebody effecting a mortgage - Pay slips, Bank statements, P 60, Accountants Report, Employment record, Other Loans, Various lending application forms.
